IMO You might be better off just looking for a good complete used working  MS908P  for around the same amount of cash ($1K that a new Maxi Flash Elite J2534 lists for). At least you should recoup most of your investment back through the use of the scan tool before you resell it later if the programming work doesn't turns out to be as lucrative as you think it will be.

  Looking at things realistically, you can buy discounted new MaxiSys Elites for between $2500-$3000 with J box , VCI 100, and 2 years of updates, that is at end of it's production run, fully developed with most of the bugs worked out because the Latest 909s and Ultra release got to be soon and most likely going  be twice the price. Hopefully These Optimize this and Optimize that updates aren't Dumbing things down on the Old platforms so the New can Shine in comparison to create the need to upgrade, LMAO
